Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises there will be extensive traffic management in place around Baypark Arena and the surrounding area on Sunday 3 January 2021 for the Bay Dreams music festival.
A number of temporary road closures are in place on State Highway 2 between Bayfair and Sandhurst Drive.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes where possible or plan their travel outside of festival hours to avoid potential delays and detours.
Up to 20,000 people are anticipated to attend the main event on 3 January 2021, which starts at 11am and finishes at 10.30pm.

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises the Bayfair roundabout will be partially closed tonight, Wednesday 9 December, in preparation for the installation of ground improvements in the area as part of the Bay Link project.
The partial closure is currently scheduled to take place between 7pm Wednesday 9 December and 5am Thursday 10 December.
This partial closure is to enable the Bayfair roundabout to be made larger in order to accommodate the construction of lattice ground improvements.
