Eureka Springs Hospital Commission chairman Dr. John House is stepping down from the commission. House announced last week that he will be leaving the hospital commission at the end of December. In an email, House writes that officers serve for two years, so someone will be replacing him as chairman in January. “I’ve made the very difficult decision to leave the hospital commission at the end of the month,” House writes. “I realize there are still 18 months left in my term, but with all the extra demands placed on healthcare workers due to the pandemic, I feel that I’m unable to give the commission the time and attention it needs at this important moment in history.”
