Victorville pair arrested after robbery at Super Walmart in Hesperia

Authorities on Wednesday reported that Marquis Denham and Maice Mitchell, both 20-year-old Victorville residents, were arrested on suspicion of robbing the Super Walmart in Hesperia.
The Hesperia Sheriff’s Station said that at approximately 10:34 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to the report of a robbery at the Walmart located at 13401 Main Street.
According to sheriff s officials, deputies discovered that a man and woman, later identified as Denham and Mitchell, entered the location and purchased items at the self-checkout while allegedly not paying for other merchandise they collected while in the store.
Woman accused of stabbing boyfriend multiple times following 2-day long argument

VICTORVILLE, Calif. - A Victorville woman was arrested on Thursday, accused of stabbing her boyfriend multiple times following a two-day long argument, police said.
Kelliana Matthews, 26, was charged with attempted murder and is being held in jail on a $1 million bond. She is scheduled to appear in Victorville Superior Court Monday afternoon.
Deputies said that prior to the attack, the victim had been in an argument over the last two days with his girlfriend, who was identified as Matthews.
Victorville Police said that on Feb. 4, Matthews was arguing with her boyfriend in front of a residence in the 13900 block of Victoria Drive. During the argument, Matthews allegedly began stabbing the 26-year-old victim with a knife.
Lenwood man pleads not guilty to 14 sexual abuse felonies, bail set at $7M

A 28-year-old Lenwood man is being held on $7 million bail after prosecutors charged him with 14 felony counts of sexual abuse on Friday.
Mario Renteria, identified by San Bernardino County Sheriff’ officials as Mario Renteria Junior Gallegos, appeared via video in a Victorville courtroom Friday and pleaded not guilty to the charges. Ten of those charges carried allegations of aggravated circumstances, court records show.
Authorities arrested Renteria at his home in the 34200 block of Birch Road on Wednesday. Two days later, prosecutors charged him with five counts of lewd or lascivious acts, three counts of sexual penetration/oral copulation, two counts of sexual intercourse/sodomy, two counts of rape by force or fear, sodomy and sexual abuse of a child, court records show.

A Victorville man who previously served time in county jail is in custody again after he allegedly stole a vehicle and led authorities on a more than 50-mile pursuit that ended near Barstow.
The Victorville Sheriff’s Station reported that deputies arrested Mykcus Martinez Ceballos, 31, on Tuesday after he allegedly stole a BMW in downtown Victorville and led authorities on the high-speed chase.
Deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 16500 block of D Street, where the reporting party saw a male subject enter a 2019 BMW that had been parked outside a business and drive away, the sheriff’s report said.
