Commuters in Melbourne are terrified that police who stormed carriages during peak hour were looking for bombs .
Heavily armed tactical officers marched through Flinders Street Station in the city s CBD about 5pm on Monday.
All services were halted and passengers told to seek alternate transportation .
Passengers used Twitter to upload footage of officers with helmets and large guns marching through the busy station and sweeping carriages.
