Wichita Workforce Centers Providing In-Person Help For Rent Assistance Applications Beginning Monday, March 8th, The Wichita Workforce Center and the City of Wichita have partnered to offer in-person appointment to assist people applying for the Wichita Emergency Rental Assistance Program (WERAP). WERAP can help those who have been struggling to pay rent or utilities due to the pandemic. Individuals meeting certain requirements could qualify for up to a year of emergency assistance, depending upon need and availability of funds. WERAP application assistance appointments will be available Monday through Thursday from 8am to 5pm, and Fridays from 9am to 12pm.
