Apple iOS update will tell you which apps want to share your data. (PA/Canva) Apple has announced further details about the privacy changes in its next iOS update, due later this month. The technology giant announced that from the spring it will require apps on its devices to get a user’s permission before tracking them across other apps and websites. The update follows the introduction of so-called privacy nutrition labels that the company introduced for all apps in its App Store earlier this year. The new feature, called App Tracking Transparency, will enable users to go to their Settings app and see which apps have requested permission to track them, and make any changes as they see fit.
Twitter opened free access to its new application programming interface (API) software for academic researchers, enabling them to study public conversations on its platform, but is not providing data from suspended accounts as part of the product.

‘Wisely’ for enterprises is enabled with edge-to-edge encryption for secure experiences
Tanla Platforms Limited has partnered with Microsoft to launch ‘Wisely,’ a blockchain-enabled communications platform-as-a-service (CPaaS) to offer secure and trusted communication experiences.
The platform is built on Microsoft Azure. Tanla and Microsoft will be co-sell partners for the platform.
“The Wisely network takes advantage of Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Databricks as well as Azure PostgresSQL Database and other Azure services,” said Microsoft in an official release.
Enterprises can access the communication network through a single API (Application Programming Interface) and enabled with edge-to-edge encryption.
