Is Vietnam’s Covid-19 treatment Favipiravir drug effective? Chia sẻ | FaceBookTwitter Email Copy Link Copy link bài viết thành công  07/07/2021    09:00 GMT+7 Vietnam has never included any antiviral drugs in its Covid-19 treatment regimen because of unclear and unproved effectiveness of the drugs in clinical trial results. Favipiravir is an antiviral drug that has been licensed in Japan since 2014 to treat influenza. Favipiravir has the same effect as Remdesivir which aims to prevent the duplication of SARS-CoV-2 virus. Many countries have approved clinical trials of this drug in the treatment of Covid-19 patients.
