Nick Knowles DO you fancy getting your home transformed by Nick Knowles and his team as part of new Channel 5 series? The presenter, who is known for DIY SOS, and his team of designers will help transform unloved and cluttered rooms into something special that can be enjoyed once again. The show is looking for people from the Salisbury area to take part. The series is produced by Viacom International Studios, with head of factual and features Oliver Wright executive producing. Knowles said Channel 5 has been “making such good shows currently” that it was “a no brainer to join in” .
Nick will utilise his home improvement knowledge in Nick Knowles: Your Life on Your Lawn (working title). The 6 x 60-minute format will see the presenter empty a cluttered home of its belongings, before guiding each family through a “cathartic and emotional” decluttering process. The house will then be made over, giving the families more space for features such as home offices or cinema rooms. The series is produced by Viacom International Studios, with head of factual and features Oliver Wright executive producing. It was commissioned by commissioning editor Guy Davies. Knowles said: C5 has been making such good shows currently that it is a no brainer to join in.

Nick Knowles, game show presenter and host of popular home improvement programme DIY SOS, is looking to transform the messy homes of families in Devon and Cornwall whose properties need a bit of TLC and inspiration.
The producers of the new series are looking for people whose homes are full to the rafters. The new show is being made by independent production company, Viacom International Studios, which makes programmes such as Cruising with Jane McDonald , Queen Victoria and Wonderful World of Chocolate. Casting assistant producer Kate Garner said: “We are very keen to hear from people in the area. She added: “Are you wading through clutter? Are you sick of your same four walls? “Do you dream of having more space and a beautiful home but don’t know where to start? “A new Channel 5 series is here to help.
