Rep. Eric Swalwell (CA-15) will be the keynote speaker and Contra Costa District Attorney Diana Becton the mock trial judge at the 19
th Annual East Bay Law Day Fri., May 7 from 10 a.m. to noon. The theme for this year’s virtual event is “Advancing the Rule of Law Now.”
During the event a Mock Trial will take place featuring students from De Anza, Kennedy and Richmond High Schools, as well as Salesian Prep Academy. Law Day activities will also include a breakout session focusing on the present day significance of the rule of law and featuring attorneys and other law enforcement from across Contra Costa County.
