BREAKING: CDC & FDA Recommend Pause in Johnson & Johnson Vaccine
I know a lot of people in the Tri-State have already received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Teachers jumped at the chance to get the one & done shot. As of today, Tuesday, April 13, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and the U.S Food and Drug Administration have recommended pausing the use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Why the Pause?
Cerebral Venous Sinus Thrombosis (CVST) Blood Clots have appeared to be a serious side effect in some patients. The information from the CDC and FDA states that this is rare, and only six patients have been reported so far. I will go out on a limb and say there will be more. One of my co-workers had the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and is now dealing with a serious blood clot in his leg.

TC Highlands Farm is located in Shelby County, Kentucky. Here at the farm, they specialize in breeding Highland Cattle. According to their website, they breed these tiny cows for pleasure and for breeding stock or as pets and only sell them to loving homes that can and will care for them properly, which we ll get into later. But the cool thing about this farm is the fact that you can actually go visit it and interact with these cattle.
EPD Seeking Shooting Suspect Believed to be Armed and Dangerous
The Evansville Police Department is asking for any information that may lead to the location of 21-year-old Biker Cox who they believe was involved in a robbery on Saturday (April 3rd, 2021) that resulted in the shooting death of one person.
According to a press release provided by EPD Public Information Officer, Nick Winsett, investigators determined Cox was involved in the shooting after questioning several individuals at a house on North Fulton Avenue connected to the incident over the weekend.
Three other individuals are already in custody in connection with the shooting that investigators say started as a planned robbery the victim was involved in. After speaking with the aforementioned individuals at the home on North Fulton, they determined Cox, along with 18-year-old Zaelin Fox, 22-year-old Kingston Southard, 24-year-old Dayvon Lang, and the victim, whose identity has not been released as of this writing, had
