Demonstrations against Bolsonaro shook Brazil Demonstrations against Bolsonaro shook Brazil Brasilia, May 30 (Prensa Latina) At least 200 rallies and marches against Bolsonaro´s government, demanding life in the face of the alarming Covid-19 death toll, were reported across Brazil. Under the so-called #29M, demonstrations had three great demands: Bolsonaro Out , the vaccine in the arm and food on the plate. The protests denounced Bolsonaro for rejecting anti-Covid-19 vaccine offers, discouraging immunization and advertising drugs such as chloroquine without scientifically-proven effectiveness. Demonstrators also criticized the new emergency relief approved by Government, dropping from R$600 (US$108) to R$150 - 300 (US$27 - 54), insufficient resources to prevent part of Brazilian people from being dying of hunger.
