Sibling service dogs Star and Trakr have been hired as a special type of victim advocate in the Ventura County District Attorney s Office. The Ventura Police Department arrested a man Tuesday night suspected of carrying a dagger and selling crystal methamphetamine, authorities said.
The arrest occurred at 10:56 p.m. in the 2200 block of South Victoria Avenue.
An officer was in the area and saw a vehicle with multiple code violations. The officer decided to pull the vehicle over and made contact with the driver, identified as Leobardo Clune, 54, or Ventura.
Through an investigation, the officer found Clune was in possession of a concealed and sheathed dagger, according to authorities. Clune was also found to have an unspecified amount of crystal methamphetamine individually packaged for sale, as well as drug paraphernalia and a scale.
