Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan and China hold talks
AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with China s State Councilor, Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi on May 11 in Xian.
The Foreign Ministers discussed development of bilateral relations and expressed mutual interest in strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and China in various fields, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan said.
The Ministers also considered implementation of the agreements reached during the telephone conversations between the leaders of Tajikistan and China, signing of new bilateral documents, coordination of joint activities in various formats, including within the framework of meetings of the Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and China.
Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan hold phone talks

Foreign Minister Mukhriddin briefed the Turkmen Deputy Prime Minister about the agreements reached with Kyrgyzstan on stabilization of the situation.
Minister Mukhriddin confirmed commitment of Tajikistan to regulation of the border issues with Kyrgyzstan through talks and search of mutually acceptable forms in view of national interests of the country.
The Foreign Ministers exchanged views on current bilateral relations and their prospects, identified practical steps for holding a series of bilateral events in context of implementation of the agreements reached on April 28 during the phone conversation between the Presidents of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
