STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. With spring and warmer weather ahead, our furry family members will begin to shed much more. It’s on your clothes, in the corners of your home, and the sun shows more than the naked eye can see.
But instead of pulling out a heavyweight vacuum, there are other options for a quick cleanup. Check out these handheld vacuums. Be sure to look for a good warranty, low noise and ergonomic design.

Did you know that more than 4 million people are bitten by dogs nationally each year?
A majority of them do not require medical attention, however. According to the CDC, approximately 800,000 need to see a doctor with more than half of those cases involving children.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a 300% increase in dog bites.
Typically, a dog will not bite without reason. Triggers include stress, being scared or feeling like they are in danger. Understanding a dog’s body language is a key way to help avoid being bitten.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. As a pet owner, I try to make food for them as often as possible. I know it’s fresh, what the ingredients are and where it comes from.
Typically, it’s a combination of lean meat, hard-boiled eggs, kale or spinach, carrots or sweet potatoes, and apple cider vinegar. They love it.
But if you don’t have time to prepare food, there are options available to you. Here are a few:
Nom Nom: Healthy and organic ingredients that are edible for everyone.
A Farmers Dog: Made fresh and delivered to your doorstep.

JOHNSON CITY - Chris Allen Roberson, age 61, of Johnson City, TN quoted Mark Twain on his voicemail saying âThe rumors of my death have been greatly exaggeratedâ. Well, this time itâs no exaggeration and as Andy Griffith would say âhe thoroughly and everlastingly expiredâ on March 15, 2021. Chris always remembered to âbeware the Ides of Marchâ and turns out, he was right.
Chris was born in Church Hill, TN to Dr. T.H. and Shirley Roberson. In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his eldest brother, Shawn âBubbaâ Roberson who may or may not have chased him with a kitchen knife for sticking a fork in the toaster.
