NEW YORK Through a television series on the Science Channel, a Fonda-Fultonville Central School District alumna is using fun, education and creative ways to tackle challenges across the world.
Jenny Buccos, who grew up in Fonda, created and co-produced Crash Test World, a television series about young people across the world who come together to find solutions to some of the biggest challenges in hopes make the world a better place and to give viewers hope that there are people in the world are trying to these problems. Co-producing the series is Andrew Zimmern, and hosting the show is Kari Byron from the popular Discovery show Mythbusters.

Lafayette Reads Together, the Lafayette Public Library s community-wide reading program, has selected its book for 2021.
Haben, The Deafblind Woman Who Conquered Harvard Law was chosen for the library s 7th annual Lafayette Reads Together program which was created to get community members reading, sharing and discussing the same book.
The book was written by disability rights lawyer, author, and speaker, Haben Girma. She has been listed on Forbes 30 Under 30 list, received the 2018 Hellen Keller Achievement Award, and was named a White House Champion of Change by former President Barack Obama.
