2 arrested in double shooting at Redford mobile home park

Redford Redford Township police have arrested two people in connection with a double shooting Thursday at a mobile home park.
Police described the shooting at the Warwick Village Mobile Home Park in the 24000 block of Joy Road as a homicide but did not release details on victims.
On Friday afternoon, the police department announced on Twitter that two suspects had been arrested. A special thanks to our partners in law enforcement for the assistance! police tweeted. More to follow pending charges from the Wayne County Prosecutors Office.
Police said they were not releasing additional information Friday on the case.
Woman arrested after newborn found dead in Lincoln Park woods in March

LINCOLN PARK, Mich. (FOX 2) - Lincoln Park police said they have arrested a 28-year-old woman in connection to a dead newborn that was found in the woods behind a business on March 6.
In a press release from Lincoln Park, police said the woman was arrested on March 30th in connection to the disturbing discovery of the baby on the south end of Lincoln Park near a wooded area.
Police called it a disturbing and unfortunate incident and said it s sitll under investigation and is being reviewed by the Wayne County Prosecutors Office.

Investigators aren't saying where the toddler was shot because he is a minor, however, they did tell us he was last listed in stable condition and that he was conscious and alert when police and medics arrived.
