Accidental artist/physician exhibits work at Huggins Hospital
April 28, 2021WOLFEBORO In cooperation with the Governor Wentworth Arts Council, award winning oil painter and Huggins Hospital gynecologist Debbie Mueller, MD, will be exhibiting her work at Huggins Hospital during the months of May and June.
While the exhibit is not open to the public, as visitation to the hospital remains limited, people can view a virtual show on Dr. Mueller s Web site at https://www.debbiemuellerart.com/collections/160580. A percentage of proceeds from any sales of artwork will support Huggins Hospital s employees through their Sunshine Fund.
Mueller s path to becoming an artist is surprising and unconventional. After a life of believing she had no artistic ability, she was visiting her parents in 2016 and during a dull, rainy day, her mother suggested painting as an activity. Construction work on three blocks at UoH inaugurated

HARIPUR: Vice Chancellor University of Haripur Prof Dr Anwar Gilani inaugurated the construction work on three new blocks at the campus on Wednesday.
The new blocks are part of the federal government’s financial assistance for an expansion project of Rs1457.960 million. Three new blocks including Ibn-i-Khaldun Social Science Block at a cost of Rs212.97 million, Al-Khwarizmi Science Block at a cost of Rs206 million and Al-Ghazali Central Library at a cost of about Rs43.63 million, will be completed during the first phase of the project.
During the next phases, separate hostels for the faculty, male and female students, gymnasium, examination department, vice chancellor’s residence, Students Teacher Center and roads would be constructed.

By: Graham Skellern Market leader Fisher and Paykel Healthcare conducted the heavy lifting and led the New Zealand sharemarket to a gain of half a per cent. Outside of Fisher and Paykel s hard work, the market was in a holding pattern, awaiting the latest round of company financial results.
The S&P/NZX 50 Index picked up 69.06 points or 0.55 per cent to 12,715.20 on steady volume of 34.8 million share transactions worth $170.67 million. There were 49 gainers and 76 decliners over the whole market of 185 stocks.

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is advising motorists that work will get under way on a range of minor safety improvements on State Highway 29, from the intersection of SH28 (Rapurapu Rd) to the top of the Kaimai Ranges, from Friday subject to weather.
This work will be carried out at night from 9pm to 5am and two lanes will be maintained at all times. During these works, a temporary speed limit of 30kmh will be in place.
