With a little help and these step-by-step tips, you might be able to eventually land your dream job. Buzz60âs Chloe Hurst has the story.
Itâs over. Between you and your job, that is. But this is not the moment to tell your employers how you really feel, nor to let HR know all the company policies that need fixing, and definitely not to burn a departure trail of fiery rage.
âResist that urge,â says Anthony Klotz, associate professor of management at Mays Business School at Texas A&M. âPeople who burn bridges are not bad people. Theyâre good people who have been treated poorly by their organization.â

MANSEHRA: The National Highway Authority (NHA) has cleared the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad road till the Pondain Glacier with the support of a Chinese company working at the Suki Kanari Hydropower project.
“This strategically important artery, which links Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with Gilgit-Baltistan, was blocked to all sort of traffic after the heavy snowfall in Kaghan valley in November last year,” Hussain Deen, the chairman of the hoteliers association in Kaghan valley, told reporters on Sunday.
“The road has been cleared of snow and it is hardly a 10 km away from the Naran,” he said, and hoped the road could be opened to the traffic within the next two weeks up to Naran, the commercial hub of the Kaghan valley.
ALTAPASS â Judy Carson passed away this morning in the arms of her beloved husband, helpmate, and friend at their home in Little Switzerland. It was a quiet ending to a long and happy journey spanning more than 80 years. Judy s smile lit up any room and greeted everyone. A diminutive woman with a heart as big as a red delicious in September.
Back in the late 1950s, more and more women were attending college. Judy went to Purdue University in pursuit of a career in Speech Therapy. Young Bill Carson, a year ahead, stayed to get his masterâs degree and woo her. He won both. On June 10, 1961, 10 days after her graduation, they married. Her professional career was short-lived, while her marriage endured. For the next 30-plus years, she managed a household, raised two children, Karen and Jill, nurtured her four granddaughters, and used her untapped talent in the world of graphic design.

ROCKLAND Two boat-related events that were slated in Rockland for the summer of 2020 are tentatively returning to the calendar for 2021, toned down, adapted, and reliant on State CDC recommendations. Spokespeople representing each event requested City support during the April 8 City Council meeting.
Rockland Bicentennial and windjammer anniversaries
“It was going to be a fantastic celebration of the maritime elements of Maine’s history, and in particular, Rockland’s role in that story,” said the organizing group’s spokesperson, Dan Bookham.
With a looming “go/no-go” date of June 1, organizers of Rockland’s Bicentennial group are again making plans for a potential Friday, July 2, celebration. Because of the waterfront location of the events, those plans of “what we feel we can do under the current guidelines,” said Bookham, are subject to review by the Harbor Management Committee. Org
