A 38-year-old Tuscon, Ariz. man was arrested Friday night after troopers discovered a stolen gun on the floor of his vehicle as he was entering the Plainridge Park Casino, State Police said.
Bruce Hodges was pulled over as he was entering the casino property in Plainville after a trooper noticed the vehicle he was driving, a white Volvo sedan, had a headlight out on the driverâs side, State Police said. A man accused of committing a slew of crimes in Boston was busted by local, state and federal law enforcement Tuesday with a handgun and more than 10 grams of crack cocaine, according to police.
State Police: Violent Fugitive Nabbed With Loaded Gun
State and federal law enforcement ran after and apprehended a fugitive in Foxboro this morning, and say he had a loaded gun and crack cocaine on his person.
29-year-old Dwyane Rogers-Flonory, wanted on various warrants out of Boston, was taken into custody shortly after 8:20 a.m.The Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, Deputy U.S. Marshals and parole officers participated in the stake-out and arrest.
This morning, troopers and agents established surveillance at an apartment complex at 400 Foxborough Boulevard and observed a vehicle associated with the suspect. Police saw Rogers-Flonory walking toward the vehicle. As they moved in to arrest him, the suspect ran off on foot and scaled a six-foot fence. With team members in pursuit, Rogers-Flonory tried to scale a second fence but was caught and placed in custody, state police said in a media release.

FRANKLIN Police say a Franklin man who was found sleeping Jan. 15 in a car that he had apparently broken into had a backpack full of items that appeared to be stolen from other vehicles.
Cody Nickerson, 29, is charged with breaking and entering into a vehicle. Police say more charges are possible.
Now police are asking the public to go through their cars to determine whether anything is missing and to call and see if they can match stolen goods with their owners, police Sgt. Brian Johnson said.
The investigation began about 7:19 a.m. on Jan. 15. A resident of Dale Street looked outside and saw someone in his car and called police.

MEDWAY Three men accused of breaking into a home in October and violently attacking a resident have each been indicted.
Troy Boykin, 26, and Jarrett Boykin, 18, both of Blackstone; and Carlos Walker, 24, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, were indicted last Thursday in Norfolk Superior Court on charges related to a home invasion that took place Oct. 8 at 6 Pine St., police said in a press release.
All three defendants will soon be arraigned in Norfolk Superior Court on the following charges: home invasion; armed burglary; armed assault in a dwelling; and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
The men are accused of breaking into the Pine Street apartment armed with a handgun, knives and brass knuckles, and violently beating the sleeping resident at about 1 a.m., according to police.
