COVID-19 mass vaccine clinics at Augusta Health FISHERSVILLE – Augusta Health has opened their vaccine registration portal for their April 6 mass vaccine clinic. Appointments for clinics on April 7-8 will be available one to two days prior to the clinic s date. Some clinics this week are customized based on where you live or work in the Central Shenandoah Health District. Two clinics are for Staunton, Augusta County and Waynesboro; one clinic is open to anyone who lives or works in the CSHD health district. Central Shenandoah Health District is comprised of Augusta, Bath, Highland, Rockbridge, and Rockingham counties, as well as the cities of Staunton, Waynesboro, Lexington, Buena Vista and Harrisonburg.

Central Shenandoah Health District is transitioning the COVID-19 vaccine clinic appointment process from invitation-only to a combination of invitation-only and posting open appointment slots starting Sunday, March 7, said Laura Lee Wight, CSHD s population health director. CSHD will be posting available appointments for the next day s clinics at noon the day before on their website. These appointments are based on vaccine availability.
