MINNEAPOLIS In his first court appearance since the death of Yadhira Romero Martinez, Jose Daniel Cuenca Zuniga said he wants to return to his home country. Despite his attorney s protests, the murder suspect continued speaking during the hearing, protesting the bail amount set by the judge. I didn t have anything to do with this issue, and this is unfair to me, Cuenca Zuniga said through a translator in Spanish.

(KNSI) – Two juveniles from St. Cloud have been charged after allegedly pulling a gun on a woman in Big Lake and stealing her vehicle last week.
The Sherburne County Attorney’s Office says the juveniles have been charged with Aggravated Robbery in the First Degree and other related charges.
According to the police department, around 6:45 pm on April 7th, officers were called to the Station Street Apartment parking lot, where the woman said two boys approached her and asked for a ride.
She says one of the boys pulled a gun, demanded her keys, and threatened to shoot her. Police say the two juveniles took the vehicle and fled.
Big Lake Police Department
(KNSI) – The Sherburne County Attorney’s Office says they’ll prosecute a Big Lake man accused of murdering his mother if he’s found competent.
Eric Leif Jordahl is accused of killing Rose Johnson in July of 2020. Johnson was a member of the Big Lake City Council.
According to a criminal complaint, Jordahl’s father told dispatchers that when he got home from work, Jordahl told him he had killed Johnson.
Officers responded to the home and found Jordahl covered in blood and a knife on the kitchen table.
They found Johnson’s body in a lower-level basement bedroom.
