Larry Clinton ‘L.C.’ Brown
WILMINGTON Larry Clinton “L.C.” Brown, 79, revered and longtime resident of Wilmington, died in the early evening of Monday, Dec. 14, 2020. He succumbed from complications of the COVID-19 virus.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert S. Brown; and mother, Ethel M. Covey.
He is survived by his beloved family, devoted wife, Eileen Brown; three daughters, Delores Nye, Debra Brown and Robin Shulikov; son, Philip Brown; grandchildren, Avery, Cayla, Camden, Mia, Ashley, Conan, Mariah, Gabrielle, Emma, Mathew and Faith; great-grandchildren, Madison, Elayna, Charley, Isaac, Frankie, Willow and Lilliana; along with brothers, Albert S. Brown Jr. and Victor Zugg; and sister, Delores Faye Coile.

(Clifton) â Police say a 30-year old Dennysville man driving on a suspended license suffered critical injuries in yesterdayâs crash that closed down Route 9 in Clifton. State Troopers say 30-year-old Jay Preston of Dennysville crossed the centerline in his pickup and struck a tractor-trailer driven by 56-year-old Rodney Tolman of Amherst. Firefighters had to cut Preston from his vehicle. The crash closed Route 9 for more than 10 hours as workers removed the tree-length logs from that spilled from the tractor-trailer.

The home was not insured and is a total loss. The American Red Cross is assisting the family with housing.

FORT FAIRFIELD, Maine A teenage boy was severely injured as a family of four narrowly escaped a house fire in Fort Fairfield early Wednesday morning. The home is a total loss.
Around 12:15 a.m., Fort Fairfield Fire Rescue was called to 125 Fort Hill Street. Fire personnel arrived to find the home completely engulfed in flames.
