Schuyler reports five COVID deaths

RUSHVILLE Schuyler County health officials said late Tuesday that five people have died of COVID-19 in the county.
The deaths involved a man in his 70s, two women in their 80s and two women in their 90s, according to the Schuyler County Health Department.
There have been seven deaths since March in the county attributed to coronavirus. A death is counted as COVID-related if coronavirus is listed as the cause of death or a significant condition contributing to the death, according to the county health department.
Schuyler County has seen a significant rise in cases during the past several weeks and there are several active outbreaks in the county.
