More than 90 per cent of women would not report rape to police, YES Matters survey finds
A woman holding her head in her hands A TOTAL of 91 per cent of females who took part a survey said if they were raped they would not report the crime to the police. Victims of sexual offences charity YES Matters, which was founded by Gemma Aitchison, who lives in Westhoughton asked 612 women and girls in groups across Greater Manchester about a host of topics on the sexual objectification of females. Out of the participants, 73 per cent had experienced sexual assault and 64 per cent had been raped.
