AAPL) - Get Report will hold an online product event on April 20 at 1 p.m. U.S. Eastern, during which the tech giant is expected to unveil the latest versions of its hardware.
The digital event, called Spring Loaded, will be streamed online, instead of held in person due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Apple events usually create much fanfare as the company s user base anticipates new-product drops.
Apple in the fall had held three special events, in September, October and November. Next week s event will be Apple s first of this year.

Shortly after Siri prematurely revealed that Apple would hold an event on April 20, the company has officially started sending out invites for its ‘Spring Loaded’ presentation that will take place on the same date. The company has always sent out invites a week prior to the actual event, so those people that were speculating if Apple would go through with it, well here is the evidence, in the flesh.
The event will take place at 10:00 AM Pacific Time at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park campus located in Cupertino, California. Ever since the global health crisis, Apple has proceeded to announce products either in the form of press releases or through a pre-recorded presentation. Since the pandemic has not subsided, we expect Apple to follow the same approach it carried out last year, while unveiling a few products that customers have been highly anticipating.
Apple s Spring Loaded Event Officially Announced for Tuesday, April 20

Following an overnight leak by Siri, Apple today officially announced that it will be holding a special Spring Loaded event on Tuesday, April 20 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California.
As with all of Apple s 2020 events, the April 2021 event will be a digital-only gathering with no members of the media invited to attend in person due to the ongoing public health crisis.
Apple s April event will see Apple showing off the first new products of 2021, and there s quite a lot on the horizon. Updated iPad Pro models, a new low-cost iPad, a new iPad mini, refreshed iMacs, and the long-awaited AirTags are all products that Apple could potentially introduce.
