A little before 6:30 p.m., the driver went off the road and into a ditch where he lost control of the vehicle. He hit a tree, and the vehicle traveled down an embankment before stopping. Mecosta County deputies responded to the crash. The man was taken to Spectrum Health Big Rapids for minor injuries and later released.
