A clergyman caught with hundreds of indecent images of children told police he looked at younger boys .
The Reverend Canon Nigel Cahill, the rector of Aberavon and the parish priest at St Agnes Church in Port Talbot, was cautioned on June 25 last year when police officers, assisted by the digital forensic cyber crime unit, executed a warrant at his home address in Forge Road, Port Talbot. It came after police were informed that an image of a child had been uploaded from an internet source at The Rectory.
AN AMMANFORD man who is accused of theft will face Crown Court proceedings next month. David Kristian Fisher, of Parc Fferws Road, Penybanc, Ammanford, appeared in court accused of stealing a mobile phone. It is alleged that the 32-year-old entered a property on April 7, 2020, as a trespasser and stole a mobile phone to the value of £200. Appearing at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court, the 32-year-old was also charged with possession of 4.71 grams of Class B drug cannabis. The defendant admitted the drugs charge and that case was dealt with at Llanelli. Magistrates fined Fisher £80 for that offence, ordered him to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 Crown Prosecution Service costs.

A provisional trial date has been set for the man accused of murdering a Pembrokeshire pensioner.
The body of 68-year-old Judith Rhead was discovered at a house in Market Street, Pembroke Dock, on the evening of Saturday, February 20.
Dale Morgan has been charged with her murder and after being remanded into custody at Llanelli Magistrates Court on Thursday the case came before Swansea Crown Court on Friday.
Morgan, aged 43, of Honeyborough Green, Neyland, Pembrokeshire, did not attend the hearing due to Covid restrictions and no pleas were entered.
