Janusz Pielak, 59, had been stopped by security guards trying to get into Swindon Magistrates’ Court on January 27 with a small knife in his bag. He also had secateurs. On Thursday, JPs heard how the Polish national was told he couldn’t bring the items into court. He was watched walking across the road to the car park, where he placed the knife and the secateurs on the wheels of a Volvo car.
