Three persons, including two advocates, have been arrested by the Haryana Police for allegedly selling two acres to a private firm in Gurugram through fraudulent means.
Disclosing this, Manoj Yadava, Director General of Police, Haryana, said the land in village Islampur, which was acquired by the Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran in 1993, was sold to a private company for ₹2 crore on the basis of fake and forged documents and witnesses.
To make quick money, accused Rohit Thakaran of village Jharsa and Ajay Choudhry, a resident of village Islampur, hatched a plan and got the land transferred to the name of Ajay by producing fake witnesses who impersonated Murti Devi, Lakshmi Devi and Bala Devi, who were the original owners of the two acres of ancestral property.

Gurugram, Jan 13 : A change has been made in the revised detailed project report (DPR) for Metro rail connectivity between Gurugram and Faridabad the two industrial districts of Haryana.
The DPR has been sent to the Haryana Chief Secretary, Vijai Vardhan, for approval, said a Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) official on Wednesday.
After getting the approval, work would be started at the ground level, the official added. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had announced metro connectivity between Gurugram and Faridabad in 2016. After this the project DPR was prepared by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

The Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) has got approval for setting up an auto market in Sector 10 in Gurugram. The project will be developed over 32 acres of land, which is free of encroachment and it will have shops and repair areas for vehicles. The market will have bays for large and small vehicles, where these can repair without any traffic snarls.
The market will have a single entry and exit and the roads will be 24 meters and 18 meters in width. The market is being designed in such a manner that vehicles can move with ease. The market will also be self-sustaining with adequate amenities so that there is minimum impact on the adjoining residential areas, they added.
