CINCINNATI (FOX19) - A suspect is under arrest in a Roselawn double shooting that killed one man and hospitalized another.
The double shooting in the 7300 block of Brookcrest Drive about 3 p.m. Tuesday is Cincinnatiâs first homicide of 2021 after record-high slayings in the city last year.
Jahman Akins, 28, is held on a murder charge at the Hamilton County jail. He is accused of gunning down Kevin Suttles 38, according to Cincinnati police.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - A father is facing a child endangerment charge after he allegedly left his autistic child inside the car for more than three hours on New Year’s Eve, a court complaint says.
On Thursday, Shawn Casey went inside CSL Plasma to donate plasma for money, according to the court complaint.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Bond was set at $1 million Monday for a man charged with murdering his girlfriend whose 3-year-old son remains missing.
Desean Brown, 20, pleaded not guilty during the brief hearing in Hamilton County Municipal Court.
Brown was arrested over the weekend and charged with killing Nyteisha Lattimore, 29.
Cincinnati police wrote in a sworn statement that Brown stabbed her multiple times with âan unknown edged weaponâ at a Melrose Avenue apartment in Walnut Hills on Friday.

Two more Hamilton County judges have dismissed charges against 66 people arrested this spring during Black Lives Matter demonstrations, bringing the total number of cases dismissed to 101, or roughly one-fifth of the total number of arrests.
Rulings Dec. 3 by Judge Ted N. Berry and Dec. 9 by Judge Brad Greenberg align with an earlier decision that a curfew put in place during the May and June protests was unconstitutionally vague. About 375 cases remain before 10 additional judges.
A judge in Hamilton County Thursday dismissed charges against 35 people arrested during Black Lives Matter protests in Cincinnati between May 29 and June 1.
These are some of the first cases to come to resolution following the spring demonstrations sparked by the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and others. Some 500 people were arrested, charged with violating a curfew ordered by Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley.

In total, 101 cases have now been dismissed. The mayor implemented a citywide curfew amid protests over the death of George Floyd. Floyd, a 46-year-old unarmed Black man, was killed while in police custody in
