At least 183 hospital staff and physicians in Hamilton are self-isolating because of COVID-19.
Hamilton Health Sciences is reporting 183 staff and physicians are self-isolating, 63 of which tested positive for the virus.
St. Joseph s Health Hamilton told CBC News 36 St. Joe s health-care workers self-isolated from Jan. 1 to Jan. 12 but did not say how many staff currently have COVID-19. It s also unclear how many of them are still isolating and how many others have joined them.
Hamilton logs 66 new cases of COVID-19 and 3 more deaths
Hamilton Public Health Services is on Wednesday reporting 66 new cases of COVID-19 and three more deaths as a result of the virus. There are currently 783 active cases of COVID-19 in the city.

The city of Hamilton is awaiting more detail about how it will enforce Ontario s 28-day stay-at-home order that comes into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, drawing questions from residents and councillors.
But Mayor Fred Eisenberger says it comes down to personal responsibility and breaking it down to simple rules. Stay within your own household as much as you can, other than essentials, and those essentials are work, getting groceries, medical appointments and beyond that, stay within your own household, he told reporters on Wednesday.
Hamilton Public Health Services is reporting 103 new cases and 3 new deaths as the province starts its stay-at-home order, which included an emergency alert on Thursday morning.
