According to officials, on April 22, 2020, Johnson was watching over his sick neighbor s house in Missouri City. Johnson noticed a strange car in the neighborhood and approached the car with a BB gun.
The deputy was inside the car was working undercover looking for a murder suspect. That s when the deputy opened fire and shot Johnson multiple times.
In his initial comments during the press conference, Congressman Green said on behalf of the family, they are disappointed, highly disappointed.
Congressman Green said this is because there were several questions left unanswered during their conversation with officials from the DA s Office such as a ballistics report or if a medical examiner was present during the trial.

 A Harris County grand jury declined to indict a sheriffâs deputy on April 30 for the 2020 fatal shooting of Missouri City resident Joshua Johnson, a news release from the Harris County District Attorneyâs Office said.
The 35-year-old Johnson was shot by a Harris County Sheriffâs Office deputy in the 15000 block of East Ritter Circle in Missouri around 6 a.m. on April 22, 2020, the district attorneyâs office said. According to the news release, the officer was working with the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force to try to find a capital murder suspect from Dallas believed to be in the neighborhood.

Susan Eads was murdered in 1983 and her family always wondered, what happened?
“We have put all kinds of scenarios together for 35 years, said Eads.
He is the oldest of Susan’s four siblings, always carrying the burden of finding out what happened to his little sister who he remembers as beautiful, funny, and full of gumption.
