Looking to raise awareness about a few issues for workers at health-care facilities, there was no shortage of car horn support as they held placards at the street entrance to Heartwood Long-Term Care Home on Eleventh Street in Cornwall.

“This is about three things – respect us, protect us, pay us,” Touchette said, holding a Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) sign with those words on it.
