Border Agents Seize $2.2 Million In Meth   HIDALGO, TX – Customs and Border Patrol has confirmed border agents seized more than $2 million of alleged methamphetamine hidden inside a pickup truck. According to CBP, agents stationed at the Hidalgo-Reynosa International Bridge stopped a 21-year-old woman from the U.S. attempting to enter from Mexico. Using imaging and a cannine team, agents located 14 packages hidden within the vehicle. The packages contained 114 pounds of meth with an estimated street value of $2,278,000. The woman was arrested and turned over to the custody of Homeland Security Investigations. On Jan. 23, a CBP officer at the Hidalgo-Reynosa International Bridge encountered the woman arriving from Mexico in a pickup truck and referred her for further inspection.  When the woman went through secondary examination, officers found 14 packages of alleged methamphetamine weighing 114 pounds.
