The Hinterland Music Festival Has a Lineup for 2021 Now that coronavirus vaccines are becoming more available, some big summer events will be returning to the state of Iowa! It was just revealed yesterday that the Great Jones County Fairin Monticello is officially happening in July (including the Grandstand concerts), and now we re hearing about the return of a popular Iowa music festival! The Hinterland Music Festival announced yesterday that this year s event is set to take place August 6th through 8th in St. Charles, Iowa. Because the festival had to be cancelled last year, many of the artists from the 2020 lineup are still set to take the stage in 2021, as well as a few new additions. Here is the official lineup:

(Photo courtesy of the Hinterland and Dronography Iowa) Organizers of a central Iowa outdoor music and camping festival that has attracted thousands of fans are planning to bring it back in early August. The Hinterland Music Festival in Saint Charles fell victim to the pandemic cancelations last year. Hinterland’s Sam Summers says things are finally starting to look better. “I feel like over this last year there’s been one step forward and two steps back with progress on this virus and I think we are finally at the point where we can see light on the other end of the tunnel and realize there’s life on the other side of all of this,” Summers says.
