Sub fire officer at Manoj Shukla (50) of the Dumbhal fire station was carrying out the cooling down operation at a height of 30 feet. However, the structure on which he was standing broke down during the operation, said officials. Shukla was first taken to New Civil Hospital for treatment and he was then rushed to a private hospital for further treatment.

In an advisory on Friday, the DOST-NCR said it has received information about possible scammers using the iFWD PH program, logo and other publication materials "to acquire loans with a certain interest rate through a suspicious site/portal." The FWD PH aims to provide opportunities to OFWs and their families to establish technology-based enterprise in the Philippines.
