A recent water main break occurred between the 300 and 400 blocks of Ives Avenue. According to Big Rapids City Communications Director, Steve Gove, repairs are officially scheduled to begin at 8:30 A.M. on Friday, Feb. 9. After repairs are made, a boil water advisory will be in place until Saturday, Feb. 10. The City of Big Rapids thanks residents affected for understanding and sends an apology for this inconvenience.
