The official, Shenna Bellows, said she intends to appeal the ruling by a state Superior Court judge that placed on hold her decision to exclude Mr. Trump from the state’s Republican primary ballot.

The resolution accuses the No. 4 House Republican of helping to peddle the voter fraud conspiracy theories that fueled the Jan. 6, 2021, attack at the Capitol.

They quietly became the de facto spaces to share dumb jokes, grief or even plans for an insurrection.
