It’s no secret that America loves beer. And while craft brews usually get all the praise from beer connoisseurs, most people are perfectly happy with a can or bottle of your everyday store-bought brand. So, what brands are the most popular?
YouGov recently asked American to pick their favorite beer from a list of 75 popular brands. Very, very, very, very, very surprisingly, the Irish Stout Guinness topped the list, receiving 51% of the vote.
Heineken came in second, followed by Corona Extra.
I say. do what now!? Guinness? THE MOST POPULAR? Who voted on this? I call bogus.

In business, you have to have a niche. Provide a service that no other business does. You do that, and you ll be sure to be successful.
A business called U.S. Private Vaults, located in a strip mall in Beverly Hills, seemed to have found that niche. That is, until the government drew an indictment against the business. U.S. Private Vaults was allegedly laundering money for drug dealers, and letting them stash guns, drugs, and stacks of $100 bills in security boxes that were rented anonymously.
According to the prosecutors, the business had advertised with the statement “We don’t even want to know your name.”

Two older “Spongebob Squarepants” episodes are getting yanked off of Nickelodeon. The virus-themed episode “Kwarantined Crab” about the “clam flu,” along with the “panty raid” episode “Mid-Life Crustacean” have been taken off the air after being deemed inappropriate and insensitive.
The season 12 episode “Kwarantine Crab” features a health inspector that tells employees and patrons of the Krusty Krab that everyone needs to quarantine inside the restaurant because someone has the “Clam Flu.” Given the “sensitivities” surrounding the past year’s very real pandemic, the episode has been yanked off the air.
Season three’s “Mid-Life Crustacean” hasn’t aired since 2019, and won’t be screening on streaming services either. The episode features the characters breaking into a woman’s house to steal her underwear, which has been deemed offensive and “not kid-appropriate.”

It really sounds totally impossible, but last weekend a 54-year-old Croatian man broke his own world record for holding your breath underwater. This guy did it for an incredible 24 minutes and 33 seconds. That s like the entire length of a sitcom!
To pull off this amazing record, he hyperventilated on pure oxygen for a few minutes before he began his attempt. Who does this?
His record didn’t just happen on a whim. Budimir Buda Šobat trained for years to do it and has actually become one of the top divers in the world. He says that part of his training is to deal with the involuntary muscle spasms that happen after holding your breath for about 18 minutes. Hahaha. That happens to me after 18 seconds. Šobat says he uses those spasms to help him stay awake.
