NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - The trauma service area that includes Angelina and Nacogdoches counties hospitalization rate is below 15 percent of its hospitalsâ total capacity for the fifth day in a row.
OnSunday, the Texas Department of State Health Services reported that TSA Hâs hospitalization was at 11.47 percent. On Saturday, the hospitalization rate was at 11.18 percent.
Counties in the Deep East Texas Trauma Service Area include Angelina, Nacogdoches, Polk, Sabine, San Augustine, San Jacinto, and Tyler.
Once again, the trauma service area that includes Angelina and Nacogdoches counties had a hospitalization rate of more than 15 percent of its hospitals’ total capacity.
For the fourth day in a row, the trauma service area that includes Smith and Gregg counties has had a daily COVID-19 hospitalization rate that was less than 15 percent of its hospitals’ total capacity.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - For the past 43 days, the trauma service area that includes Angelina and Nacogdoches counties have had a hospitalization rate of 15 percent or more of its hospitalsâ total capacity.
On Sunday, the Texas Department of State Health Services reported that TSA Hâs hospitalization was at 15.77 percent, which was down from Saturday. On Saturday, the hospitalization rate was at 17.29 percent.
For the second day in a row, the trauma service area that includes Smith and Gregg counties has had a daily COVID-19 hospitalization rate that was less than 15 percent of its hospitals’ total capacity.
