Citing the latest data as of Wednesday, NCRPO chief, Maj. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr. said 109,079 focus crimes were recorded from Nov. 10, 2020 to Jan. 23, 2022 covering 440 days, an almost 17-percent drop from 131,230 incidents recorded in 441 days from Sept. 5, 2019 to Nov. 9, 2020. Classified as focus crimes are murder, homicide, physical injury, rape, theft, robbery, vehicle theft, and motorcycle theft.
