324 Area Code News Today

Anyone moving to Northeast Florida or getting new cell service might get the new 324 area code instead.

Early this a new mandatory 10-digit dialing began for all calls, including local calls, for customers using the 904-area code.

Northeast Florida is now home to the 904 and the 324, so that will change the way you make calls.

New area codes will be introduced to the 904 in early 2024. This is the first time the region has gotten a new area code since the 904 was established in 1965.

A new Minnesota area code has been introduced, and it will be assigned soon to residents in southern Minnesota. Those in the 218 area code may be next.
