communities here that are still high and dry are sandbagging, they re trying to do what they can to shore up what little levee protection that they have. they re expecting the river to crest at 57 1/2 feet. now, that would set a record. the previous record was set back in 1927 at 56 feet. and one of the residents here really gave me a good perspective. he said, look, if that s going to be the case, nobody very few people alive that have seen that type of flooding. and so right now they re trying to what they re trying to do is do what they can to move their stuff out of their homes at this point, especially in the low lying areas because we re at the junction of the yazu and mississippi river and both of those rivers right now are rising at this point. so they re trying to get out of this way of the flooding at this point because they say you have to respect the power of these rivers. be careful out there. thank you very much. the historic flooding is heading to the gulf coast.
