Josie Muffley will be the starting shortstop for Florida State when they face UCLA in an opening-round match-up at 9:30 Thursday night at USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City. Muffley has started all 55 games for Florida State this season, helping the Seminoles go 44-10-1, including a 5-0 mark in NCAA tournament play. She graduated from Portage Central in 2018.
