Technology driven financial infrastructure and services provider Computer Age Management Services (CAMS) has unveiled an e-KYC facility using an one time password based Aadhaar verification to serve the new mutual fund investors.
CAMS has developed the solution that would enable new investors to complete the KYC process digitally with OTP based Aadhaar Authentication and it was a simple method as against the earlier XML based verification, the company said on Wednesday.

There is no denying the fact that Aadhaar card has now become an important document for Indian citizens. Aadhaar card records the biometric and demographic information of citizen. It is issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).

Aadhaar card can also be for money transactions as bank account of every Indian is linked to his/her Aadhaar card. But the rise in online frauds has left many people worried about the misuse of Aadhaar.
Aadhaar Authentication history service hosted on UIDAI website. The facility provides details of authentication performed by the Aadhaar card holder in past. The Authentication History service is hosted on UIDAI Website.
Aadhaar card holder can log on to https://resident.uidai.gov.in/aadhaar-auth-history to check their details. Aadhaar card holder can check his/her Aadhaar Authentication history from UIDAI Websites by using his/her Aadhaar Number/VID and following the directions on website.
However it must be noted that registered mobile number is mandatory to avail this service. Aadhaar number holder can view details of all authentication records performed by any Authentication User Agency (AUA) or by him/her in the last 6 months.
