The Congress and the AAP - who this week delivered the INDIA bloc's first electoral win, in the Chandigarh mayoral poll - have finalised seat-share deals for Lok Sabha polls in Delhi, Gujarat, Goa, and Haryana, sources told NDTV Friday afternoon.
The AAP and the Congress have agreed seat-sharing deals for Delhi, Gujarat, Goa, Chandigarh, and Haryana ahead of the Lok Sabha election, sources said, in signs the struggling INDIA bloc - formed last year to defeat the ruling BJP.
“During the meeting, leaders from both parties affirmed that an alliance for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in Delhi is likely to be forged in the city. It was also discussed that a joint front is the way to put up a fight against BJP,” a senior AAP leader said.
