Surat: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took part in a roadshow after the Aam Aadmi Party s electoral success in its debut electoral local body polls. Making inroads in Gujarat politics, the AAP won 27 seats in the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC).
Addressing AAP s newly elected corporators in Surat, Kejriwal slammed the BJP saying they are not doing great and there are a lot of issues. Why has BJP been governing here for the last 25 years? It s not as if they re doing great. There are a lot of issues. Different parties come to power in states across the country but only one party is governing here, he said.
