Cambridge United FC
Cambridge United FC were founded back in 1912 and were originally named Abbey United, after the Abbey district of Cambridge. The club played in amateur leagues for its early years, before turning professional in 1949 and changing their name to Cambridge United in 1951. Their highest ever league finish is fifth-place in the Second Division, but they have also reached the FA Cup quarter-finals on two occasions.
