Former Alabama softball player Savannah Woodard is transferring to Liberty University, according to a post on her Instagram account from Sunday evening.

She appeared in 55 games as a freshman for the Crimson Tide while starting in 49. Her athleticism was consistently on display in the field defensively as she managed a .942 fielding percentage and only had three errors the entire year.

The speedy outfielder led the Crimson Tide with 18 stolen bases and finished third on the team with a .302 batting average as a freshman last season.
