Lockdown lifted at Elkhart Christian Academy The Elkhart Christian Academy was on lockdown Wednesday morning while Elkhart Police searched for a suspect nearby. The lockdown has since been lifted. Police say they were called around 10 a.m. for a domestic call involving a man who may have a handgun at the Williamsburg on the Lake apartments, reports said.
